Facility
The B&B "Sot i volz" (Under the archways) owes its name to the architectural elements that characterize the entire housing complex, i.e. the archways and vaults. Part of the original 16th century structure, still well preserved and visible, they are a funding element of 16th century Carnic civil architecture. Our guest can choose between some rooms of this house, originally belonging to the ancient Somma family. Over the years, the house has evolved into a small hamlet, with a small garden enclosed by a wooden gate.
The rooms
The B&B consists of an "under the arches" room at ground floor level. The room is accessed through an impressive vaulted lobby, characterized by the presence of archways. The sleeping area has three beds - one double bed and one single, bedside tables, wardrobe, table and chairs. It is possible to add an extra cot for children. Next to the sleeping area, there is a compartment equipped with a sink and a fridge. The room has an independent private bathroom. The entire room is decorated with timber furnishings. The wooden beam ceiling and the tasteful wooden panelling create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Moreover, guests have full use of an adjacent room for reading and relaxing. This rooms is characterised by some unique and exclusive items that allow our guests to "breathe“ the past history and life of the Carnia region. The De Colle - Di Ronco family, who has been living in the housing complex for a few years, manages the B&B.
Breakfast
The hearty and wholesome breakfast will include local products, and will be served in the living room of the family house, "under the archways" of the first floor.
